  • Do I need experience in martial arts to start MMA?

    Not at all. Our program welcomes beginners. You’ll be introduced to each aspect of MMA step-by-step in a safe, respectful environment.

  • Is MMA only for people who want to fight?

    No. While we offer fight prep, most of our students train for fitness, confidence, or to build well-rounded skills — not necessarily to compete.

  • Do you require sparring or contact?

    Sparring is always optional and controlled. We emphasize technical drilling first and only introduce sparring to students who want it and are ready.

  • What equipment do I need?

    Gloves, mouthguard, and shin guards are recommended for striking. For grappling, a rash guard and shorts are ideal. We’ll guide you on what to bring and provide help if you’re just getting started.

Okay, let me start by saying I don’t want to be a pro fighter or anything. I just say that because there are some guys here who do – and I know they’ll get there too. The instructors are just that good.


I just wanted to have fun, get an awesome workout, and learn some of the kick ass moves I see in the UFC. 😉 Okay, so I’m half-joking, but seriously, I wanted to learn self-defense, and after seeing so many UFC guys use BJJ so effectively, I knew this is what I needed.


I’ve learned so much already. Like I said, I don’t want to be a pro fighter, but I can feel that black belt getting closer and closer, and I can’t wait until the day I’m wearing it to class.
